The Frame House
Perched along a gently sloping hillside, the Frame House is conceived as a series of layered volumes that step with the terrain, transforming the site’s natural grade into a sequence of interconnected indoor and outdoor living spaces. Organized around a central courtyard, the architecture opens to terraces and planted roofs that extend the landscape upward and inward, softening the building’s presence within its neighborhood. Expansive glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and garden, allowing light, air, and views to shape daily life. Dark, refined materials provide a quiet architectural framework, while lush vegetation introduces warmth and texture—creating a residence that feels both grounded in its site and deeply connected to nature.
