Carmelina
Carmelina Residence is conceived as a layered retreat where architecture and landscape unfold through a sequence of framed experiences, balancing intimacy, openness, and a strong connection to nature. Organized around courtyards, breezeways, gardens, and a ravine trailway, the home creates a quiet rhythm between moments of gathering and solitude, allowing light, air, and landscape to shape daily life. A restrained palette of warm plaster, wood siding, stone, and metal gives the residence a calm and tactile presence, while expansive glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. Wellness and ritual are embedded throughout the design, from the yoga studio, sauna, and cold plunge to meditation decks, fire pit terraces, and secluded garden paths. The project embraces principles of balance, asymmetry, natural materials, and “good chi,” creating an environment that feels both refined and deeply personal. Elegant yet grounded, Carmelina Residence is designed as a contemporary sanctuary rooted in warmth, flexibility, and the experience of living closely with the landscape.
