Blue Haven
Blue Haven was designed around the recognition that a beachfront home need not have a single personality. Family life moves continually between energy and repose, sociability and privacy, activity and retreat. Rather than suppressing those differences beneath one consistent aesthetic experience, this house gives each a place of its own.
At the lowest level, the mood is serene and restorative. Above that, the house becomes more composed. The primary living level combines the ease of a beach house with enough sophistication for art, wine, entertaining, and adult dinners, without becoming formal or overly arranged. Wood, stone, glass, carefully considered details, and private outdoor spaces establish a quieter environment for retreat.
What binds these different experiences together is a restrained architectural language of strong horizontal lines, warm wood, stone, expressive glazing, and precise detailing. The consistency of the material palette allows the atmosphere to change without making the house feel fragmented.
