Turning a new house with fluorescent lighting and white walls into a home with character and a sense of history was the biggest challenge of this project. The finishes were aged, giving white walls and appearance of parchement and terra cotta tiles stripped of their gloss. A coved ceiling in the dining room was silver leafed, giving it depth and stenciling was added to the walls.
